“The world is now a much brighter place thanks to Dr. Bonner!”

Brenda Davis was thrilled to learn that she could have her cataract surgery right here in Dayton!
For several years, Dr. John Bonner (right), an ophthalmologist with Rhea Medical Center, had been telling Brenda Davis (left) that she needed cataract surgery. “I kept putting it off because I didn’t want to drive all the way to Chattanooga and then have someone have to drive me back,” Brenda says. “Even though Dr. Bonner has been my eye doctor for the past 10 years, I didn’t know until recently that he does cataract surgery right here in Dayton!”
Brenda first learned about Dr. Bonner from her daughter and son-in-law. “They highly recommended him,” she says. “Dr. Bonner is very personable and always takes the time to explain everything to me.”
This past November, Brenda finally had her outpatient cataract surgery on both of her eyes in two separate procedures. “The care I received during both surgeries was excellent,” Brenda says. “The staff is friendly and helpful, and they took the time to make me feel relaxed and comfortable”
Today Brenda is enormously pleased with the results of her surgery. “The TV isn’t blurry any more, and now I can read everything on the screen,” she says. “When I drove before, I had to wear glasses. Now I just wear my sunglasses. That’s because everything I see is brighter and clearer, thanks to Dr. Bonner and Rhea Medical Center!”
