POSITION: RN

DEPARTMENT: Surgery

HOURS: Full time Day Shift; hours will vary, call required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Associate’s degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.
  2. Current Tennessee (or compact state) license as a Registered Nurse.
  3. BLS certification required (or obtains within 6 months of employment). ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
  4. Must exhibit excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, visitors and fellow employees.
  5. Ability to stand, walk for long periods, stoop, bend, lift up to 30 lbs. with or without assistance.
  6. Able to see, hear, communicate and function competently and independently as part of surgical team.
  7. Able to assess patients vital signs, condition and recognize need for intervention.
  8. Prior work experience in OR, Same day or GI Lab preferred.
  9. Able to return on call within one hour of call in.

POSITION: Surgical Tech/CST

DEPARTMENT: Surgery

HOURS: PRN Day Shift; hours will vary, On call hours required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
  2. National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification as a surgical technologist
  3. Must have or acquire BLS certification within 6 month of employment
  4. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to children through the elder adult.
  5. Exhibits excellent customer service skills.
  6. Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, bend, lift up to 30 lbs. with or without assistance.
  7. Able to operate surgical equipment, understand and respond to verbal and visual commands.
  8. Prior experience assisting in surgery is preferred.

POSITION: Medical Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Physician Practice/ Dayton, TN

HOURS: Full-Time May require some Weekend and evening shift

SUMMARY: Assists physician with in-office patient visits.  Obtains patient information, enters information on patient chart.  Prepares patients for examination, obtains and records preliminary physical tests such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, weight. Prepares and maintains patient care equipment, maintains inventory of patient care supplies.  Maintains a safe, secure and healthy work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school graduate and Medical Assistant certification or comparable work experience to substitute for certification.
  2. Two years experience in physician office preferred.
  3. BLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
  4. Knowledge of EKG testing.
  5. Phlebotomy skills with ability to do simple lab tests.
  6. Organizational skills.
  7. Able to stand for long periods, stoop, bend, walk, kneel.  Able to assist patients with ambulation and positioning on exam table.  Visual and auditory skills to operate patient care equipment.
  8. Excellent customer service skills.

POSITION: Human Resources Director

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

HOURS: Full time (Exempt)

JOB SUMMARY:      Creates and manages human resources policies and actions in the areas of employment recruiting, compensation, benefits management, employee relations, performance management, orientation and training.  Consults with and advises department managers and staff regarding problems and questions in the day to day application of the above mentioned areas.  Consults with Administration on long range human resources issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field or substantial equivalent experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
  2. Five or more years in a human resources management role with experience in administering employment, compensation and benefits, employee relations and competency assessment programs. Broad experience should include all HR areas described in the job summary.
  3. PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM Certification preferred.
  4. Previous experience in healthcare preferred particularly with Joint Commission Accreditation.
  5. Problem-solving, customer service and organizational skills are essential. Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

POSITION:               Director of Respiratory Therapy

DEPARTMENT:        Respiratory Care

HOURS:                     Full-Time (Exempt)

JOB SUMMARY:      Supervise, perform, evaluate and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Service scope of clinical practice. Performs work in accordance with physician orders in the pediatric, adult, and geriatric population and serves inpatient, outpatient, Emergency Department and Surgical Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum of an Associate Degree from an AARC accredited respiratory therapy education program. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  1. Current Tennessee licensure; RRT required.
  1. Current certification in BLS, ACLS and PALS.
  1. Five years in clinical respiratory therapy including experience in intensive care

respiratory therapy.  Supervisory experience required.

POSITION:               Medical Laboratory Technician

HOURS:                                 Full-Time (Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays)

JOB SUMMARY:    Performs a variety of laboratory testing as ordered by physicians.  Performs phlebotomy on patients of all ages.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited 2 year program for laboratory technicians.
  2. Must have current Tennessee State license for Medical Lab Technician.
  3. Ability to operate all laboratory equipment.
  4. Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.
  5. Ability to work under pressure.
  6. Courteous attitude to employees, physicians and patients.
  7. Ability to take “on-call” status.
  8. Ability to reason, make judgments and take independent action.

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, Master’s degree preferred.
  1. Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Tennessee.
  1. BLS certification, or obtain within 6 months of employment.
  1. Pass N95 respirator fit test.
  1. Prior experience in Occupational Therapy practice preferred.

  1. Able to assess patients, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment.

  1. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required or obtain within 6 months of employment.
  2. Complete a successful fit test for N95 respirator.
  3. Ability to maintain patience and to use tact in dealing with patients, visitors and fellow  employees.  Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  1. Clinical experience obtained in nursing school and through work experience including an advanced knowledge of pathophysiology and physical assessment. Prior experience in Emergency Department strongly preferred.
  2. Ability to stand for long periods, walk, stoop, bend, transfer, transport or re-position patients with assistance.

POSITION:                              Patient Account Representative

DEPARTMENT:          Business Office

HOURS:                      Full Time

M – F 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  1. Responsible for making collection calls to patients to resolve outstanding accounts.
  2. Responsible for assisting BO with referral of accounts to collection agencies and extended business office.
  3. Responsible for initiating and answering incoming patient account correspondence.
  4. Assists walk in customers with account questions and needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.  High school graduate, college preferre

2.  Previous experience with insurance companies, collection agencies, assisting patients with healthcare accounts

3.  Must be able to handle stressful situations with patients and display excellent customer service skills, approaching patients for payment via phone and in   person.

HOURS:                       PRN (Rotating shifts, requires weekends and holidays)

JOB SUMMARY:

Assists with food preparation, assembling and delivering meal trays, cleaning dishes and trays, stocking food and supplies.  May operate cash register and handle money.  Performs all aspects of department cleaning and sanitation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Exhibit good customer service skills and work as part of a team.
  2. Perform materials handling up to 25 pounds.
  3. Ability to work walking, standing, bending, squatting or reaching overhead for entire shift.
  4. Maintain regular work attendance.
  5. Good reading and verbal communication skills to read instructions, training material, interact with patients and customers.
  6. Ability to understand and carry out instructions on a daily basis.
