JOB SUMMARY: Performs patient registration. Inputs patient data into computer, prepares information for data processing and medical records. Collects payments from patients. Requires ability to interact with patients, family, physician offices and RMC staff with strong customer service skills.

JOB POSTING
POSITION: Medical Laboratory Technician
HOURS: PRN /FT
JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of laboratory testing as ordered by physicians. Performs phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited 2 year program for laboratory technicians.
- Must have current Tennessee State license for Medical Lab Technician.
- Ability to operate all laboratory equipment.
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Courteous attitude to employees, physicians and patients.
- Ability to take “on-call” status.
- Ability to reason, make judgments and take independent action.
- Finger and manual dexterity necessary to handle specimens and equipment.
- High degree of accuracy required for testing and performance.

DUTIES: Under general direction performs cleaning duties of specified nature in assigned area.

POSITION: RN – Surgery
HOURS: PRN: Hours dayshift (hours may vary) floats to Preop, GI lab, OR circulator, PACU.
2 to 5 shifts a week.
One night of call each week (optional)
No weekends, No Holidays
SUMMARY: Serves as member of the surgical team in performing a variety of surgical procedures. Assists with pre-admission, pre-operative teaching and may train for post operative care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.
- Current Tennessee (or compact state) license as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification required (or obtains within 6 months of employment). ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Must exhibit excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, visitors and fellow

- Ability to stand; walk for long periods, stoop, bend, lift up to 30 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Able to see, hear, communicate and function competently and independently as part of surgical team.

POSITION: Surgical Tech/CST
HOURS: Full Time – Day shift. On call hours required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification as a surgical technologist
- Must have or acquire BLS certification within 6 month of employment
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to children through the elder adult.
