POSITION:                Ultrasound Technologist / Vascular Tech

 

HOURS:               Full-time or PRN

 

SUMMARY:              Performs diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Graduate of accredited program.
  2. Certification completion in Ultrasound; Echo Vascular highly desired.
  3. Rad Tech registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred, with additional certification in ultrasonography from ARDMS or ARRT required.
  4. Excellent customer service, empathy and conflict resolution skills to get along with patients, physicians and staff.
  5. Able to provide care to all age ranges of patients.
  6. Ability to assist patients in transfers and positioning, able to operate diagnostic equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.

 

  1. Current licensure as an RN in Tennessee or compact state.

 

  1. BLS, ACLS and PALS certification, or obtain within 6 months of employment.

 

  1. Pass N95 respirator fit test.

 

  1. Prior experience in hospital nursing preferred.

POSITION:                RN -Pre-Op/ PACU

 

HOURS:                     Part Time/PRN: varied days M-F only, no weekends or Holidays

 

SUMMARY:                         Serves as member of the surgical team in performing a variety of duties in the Preoperative and/or post-operative areas.  Assists with pre-admission, pre-operative teaching and may train for surgical care. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Associate’s degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.
  2. Current Tennessee (or compact state) license as a Registered Nurse.
  3. BLS certification required (or obtains within 6 months of employment). ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
  4. Must exhibit excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, visitors and fellow

  1. Ability to stand, walk for long periods, stoop, bend, lift up to 30 lbs. with or without assistance.
  2. Able to see, hear, communicate and function competently and independently as part of surgical team.

JOB SUMMARY

 

The nurse practitioner is responsible for the personal primary care of his or her patients.

 

This responsibility includes the provision of and attention to the care of major and minor

 

illnesses to long range health issues and diseases within the scope of individual knowledge.

 

The nurse practitioner also serves in a care coordination role for the practice in which he/she

 

will coordinate team-based care for individuals through effective partnership with patients,

 

their caregivers/families, community resources, and their physicians.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:   Graduate of an accredited Master’s Degree nursing program.

 

Licensure:   Current Tennessee license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Active DEA 

 

Registration and BLS certification required. Must possess an active American Nurses Credentialing

 

Center (ANCC) Certification or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Certification.

 

Must have a National Provider Identification (NPI) number.

 

Must maintain all necessary narcotic and controlled substances registration numbers and licenses

 

required for the performance of duties. Active BLS certification required.

 

Experience:  Clinical experience obtained in nursing school or work experience as an Advanced Practice

Registered Nurse including progressive knowledge of pathophysiology and physical assessment.

 

 Previous family practice experience preferred.

 

Skills:             Ability to communicate with doctors, patients, and visitors.  The employee 

 

must demonstrate the knowledge and the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age 

 

of the patient served in his / her patient population.  Must demonstrate knowledge of the  

 

principle of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data

 

reflective of the patient’s status.  Must possess knowledge of disease process and appropriate treatment.

Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. Also must possess the ability to use critical

 

thinking, organizing, and planning skills.

 

Physical Demands: High volume use of telephone and computer. Work is performed under very tight

 

time constraints often under stressful conditions. Must be able to move from room to room and position

 

self for appropriate communication with patients and their families.

 

Required to stand, bend, lift, squat, climb, reach above head, crawl and

 

sit; lift, and carry equipment.  Includes the ability to manipulate 21-50 lbs 20-30 times per shift;

 

able to lift and carry 20-50 lbs unassisted. The ability to stand and walk 80% of the time during

 

shift duty.  Physical demands include the ability to visualize color gradient in waived tests.

 

Must be able to hear to complete manual blood pressure and have the ability to distinguish

 

abnormal odors.  Also required is the ability to hear and comprehend patient request including

 

rapid response to emergency signals and emergency situations such as patients falls and

 

cardiopulmonary arrest.  Requires manual dexterity to write, grasp, push/pull, perform fine

 

manipulation skills, speak English, and ability to use foot, and/or hand operated equipment.

 

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an outpatient care setting. Conditions range from

 

moderate to high degree of disagreeable features.   

 

Exposure to odors, materials, chemicals and infectious products are encountered daily. 

 

utilize standard precautions at all times.  Exposure to accidental injury and infectious

 

diseases of a high degree, and difficult to avoid.  The employee is responsible to wear the

 

proper protective safety equipment and/or infection control attire.

as well as other community care providers.

Complexity  of Duties:   Must perform a variety of duties comprised of many highly technical

POSITION:                              Receptionist

 

DEPARTMENT:          Physician Group

 

HOURS:                      PRN

 

SUMMARY:

The Receptionist is a vital part of the team in the delivery of primary care in an    
ambulatory setting.  The receptionist works under the supervision of the Practice Manager.    
They are responsible for greeting patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, determining their needs and directing them accordingly.    
Additionally, they will collect demographic and financial information.  
Responsible for performing assigned duties within practice policies.    

 

QUALIFICATIONS      
Education: High school graduate, college preferred.      
       
Experience: Previous experience in physician office setting. Knowledge of Electronic Health Record and the various insurance company rules and regulations preferred.      
Skills: Ability to communicate with doctors, patients, and visitors.  The employee  
must demonstrate the knowledge and the skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the  
age of the patient served on his or her assigned area. Must have basic computer skills.

TITLE:          Insurance Accounts Specialist

DEPARTMENT:      Business Office

REPORTS TO:         Business Office Director

 

JOB SUMMARY:  The primary duty for this position is to follow-up with insurance companies on payment of claims.  Contact all parties necessary to resolve outstanding insurance payments.

Work all incoming insurance correspondence, insurance rejections, and incoming calls. Review the remittance advices for denials and correct payment contacting the companies when necessary. Assist with scheduling on an as-needed basis.

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:     Must be a high school graduate.

 

Licensure:      Not applicable

 

Experience:    A minimum of 2 years experience in hospital registration and/or business office.

Knowledge of insurance payors, ICD-9 codes and CPT codes preferred.

 

Physical and Mental Demands:  Primarily sedentary work. Must be able to work proficiently on computer and various software programs including Microsoft Office. Must have ability to efficiently handle several tasks at once.

 

Travel:            Not required

 

Working Conditions:    Working in a office setting.  May encounter unpleasant customers at times questioning their account.

 

 

Principle Contacts:   Position involves working with several people which includes co-workers in the facility and customers on the phone and in person.
