POSITION:                Environmental Services Technician

HOURS:  Full-time Day Shift

                                                          

DUTIES:                     Under general direction performs cleaning duties of specified nature                                                   in assigned area. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school graduate or equivalent preferred, able to read and write.
  2. Clean floor to ceiling with great attention to detail.
  3. Ability to bend, stoop, stand, climb and lift items (weighing up to 30 lbs) four feet off the ground.
  4. Able to sweep, mop, vacuum and wipe down surfaces.
  5. Tactful and courteous to patients, visitors and staff.
  6. Requires standing and walking for most of 8 hour shift.
  7. Able to work effectively without direct supervision.
  8. Able to fit test for N95 respirator.

HOURS:                       Full-Time

SUMMARY:                  Performs general X-Ray procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Graduate of accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
  2. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required. CT Preferred.
  3. Excellent customer service, empathy and conflict resolution skills to get along with patients, physicians and staff.
  4. Experience as a Radiologic Technologist in providing care to all age ranges of patients.
  5. Ability to assist patients in transfers and positioning and able to operate diagnostic equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

 

  1. National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification as a surgical technologist preferred, not required.

 

  1. Must have or acquire BLS certification within 6 month of employment

 

  1. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to children through the elder adult.

 

  1. Exhibits excellent customer service skills.

Title: Clinical Coding Specialist                                                       

Department:  Health Information Management

Reports to:  Health Information Management Director

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus

 

Job Summary: Responsible for coding all clinical records including IP/OBS/OPS/ED/OP/OT/PT/ST; to provide a quality record, coded, keyed and billed in an accurate and timely manner. Verifies all orders for compliance and medical necessity. Verifies documentation as to treatment and supplies/services charged. Compiles statistical data for PI/Training/Education/Reporting purposes.               

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education: Graduate or student from an accredited program for Health Information Management or coding certification preferred. Must provide validation of coding course completion. RHIT/CCS preferred.

 

Experience/Licensure/Certification: Coding certification preferred. Graduate or student from an accredited program for Health Information Management. Student must provide validation of coding course completion.

 

Skills: Ability to work in an individual setting. Ability to work well with medical record documentation.  Computer skills are a must.

 

Physical/Mental Demands: Office setting. Must be able to sit for long periods at a computer workstation.  Must be able to concentrate on tasks, perform work without direct supervision for the scheduled work shift.

 

Working Conditions: Moderate amount of sitting, walking, bending and working at computer monitor screen. Ability to deal with stressful situations and frequent work interruptions.

 

Complexity: Must extract substance from complex coding systems.  Ability to follow standard practices in coding/reimbursement.  Demonstrate the knowledge of optimization of coding for reimbursement.  Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of JCAHO, STATE, Federal Record Completion Standards and HIPAA Confidentiality Regulations.

JOB SUMMARY:      Provides clerical support to the Med/Surg Dept. staff by providing information management support, retrieves records and test results, makes copies, faxes, assists with patient registration and admissions, handles incoming calls and requests for information, orders supplies and maintains stock.  May assist with patient care activities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

 

  1. Experience in patient contact position in a health care setting, or completion of nursing, medical assistant, nurse aide courses also accepted.

 

  1. Must be able to assist with patient care tasks.

 

  1. Previous EKG monitoring experience preferred.
