POSITION: Ultrasound Technologist / Vascular Tech
HOURS: Full-time or PRN
SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of accredited program.
- Certification completion in Ultrasound; Echo Vascular highly desired.
- Rad Tech registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred, with additional certification in ultrasonography from ARDMS or ARRT required.
- Excellent customer service, empathy and conflict resolution skills to get along with patients, physicians and staff.
- Able to provide care to all age ranges of patients.
- Ability to assist patients in transfers and positioning, able to operate diagnostic equipment.

SUMMARY: Serves as member of the surgical team in performing a variety of duties in the Preoperative and/or post-operative areas. Assists with pre-admission, pre-operative teaching and may train for surgical care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.

The nurse practitioner is responsible for the personal primary care of his or her patients. |
|
||
|
This responsibility includes the provision of and attention to the care of major and minor |
|
||
|
illnesses to long range health issues and diseases within the scope of individual knowledge. |

The nurse practitioner also serves in a care coordination role for the practice in which he/she |

will coordinate team-based care for individuals through effective partnership with patients, |

JOB QUALIFICATIONS |

Education: Graduate of an accredited Master’s Degree nursing program. |

shift duty. Physical demands include the ability to visualize color gradient in waived tests. |

Must be able to hear to complete manual blood pressure and have the ability to distinguish |

rapid response to emergency signals and emergency situations such as patients falls and |

||

cardiopulmonary arrest. Requires manual dexterity to write, grasp, push/pull, perform fine |

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an outpatient care setting. Conditions range from |

moderate to high degree of disagreeable features. |

Exposure to odors, materials, chemicals and infectious products are encountered daily. |

utilize standard precautions at all times. Exposure to accidental injury and infectious |
|
||
|
diseases of a high degree, and difficult to avoid. The employee is responsible to wear the |

POSITION: Receptionist

SUMMARY:
| The Receptionist is a vital part of the team in the delivery of primary care in an | ||
| ambulatory setting. The receptionist works under the supervision of the Practice Manager. | ||
| They are responsible for greeting patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, determining their needs and directing them accordingly. | ||

TITLE: Insurance Accounts Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Business Office
REPORTS TO: Business Office Director
JOB SUMMARY: The primary duty for this position is to follow-up with insurance companies on payment of claims. Contact all parties necessary to resolve outstanding insurance payments.
Work all incoming insurance correspondence, insurance rejections, and incoming calls. Review the remittance advices for denials and correct payment contacting the companies when necessary. Assist with scheduling on an as-needed basis.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must be a high school graduate.
Licensure: Not applicable
Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in hospital registration and/or business office.
Knowledge of insurance payors, ICD-9 codes and CPT codes preferred.
Physical and Mental Demands: Primarily sedentary work. Must be able to work proficiently on computer and various software programs including Microsoft Office. Must have ability to efficiently handle several tasks at once.
Travel: Not required
Working Conditions: Working in a office setting. May encounter unpleasant customers at times questioning their account.
Principle Contacts: Position involves working with several people which includes co-workers in the facility and customers on the phone and in person.
