Biography
Dr. Rooks is a general surgeon trained in a wide range of surgical services relating to the abdomen, including surgery of the gallbladder, stomach and colon. He is also highly trained in taking care of critically ill patients.
In addition, Dr. Rooks is an assistant professor of surgery, Department of Surgery, for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga.
A native of Shelbyville, TN, Dr. Rooks enjoys spending time with his family when not caring for patients. His other interests include making pizza (his father owns a pizza shop), watching college football, and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking and cycling.
