Rhea Medical Center is excited to announce the successful completion of DNV’s new quality-based accreditation process! DNV is a globally-recognized and respected certification, assurance and risk management organization focused on helping hospitals surpass patient quality and safety expectations. Earning this accreditation means that RMC has demonstrated the ability to meet and/or exceed such standards as designated by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The accreditation program, called NIAHO®(Integrated Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), involves rigorous annual surveys designed to encourage shared information across hospital departments, all with the goal of consistently improving clinical workflows and safety protocols.
