POSITION:                Ultrasound Technologist

                                   

HOURS:               Full-time or PRN

                                   

SUMMARY:              Performs diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Graduate of accredited program.
  2. Certification completion in Ultrasound; Echo Vascular highly desired. 
  3. Rad Tech registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred, with additional certification in ultrasonography from ARDMS or ARRT required.
  4. Excellent customer service, empathy and conflict resolution skills to get along with patients, physicians and staff.
  5. Able to provide care to all age ranges of patients.
  6. Ability to assist patients in transfers and positioning, able to operate diagnostic equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.

 

  1. Current licensure as an RN in Tennessee or compact state.

 

  1. BLS, ACLS and PALS certification, or obtain within 6 months of employment.

 

  1. Pass N95 respirator fit test.

 

  1. Prior experience in hospital nursing preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license in the State of Tennessee or compact state.

                                                                                               

  1. BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required or obtain within 6 months of employment.

 

  1. Complete a successful fit test for N95 respirator.

 

  1. Ability to maintain patience and to use tact in dealing with patients, visitors and fellow

            employees. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

 

  1. At least one year of job experience in emergency department strongly preferred.

 

  1. Ability to stand for long periods, walk, stoop, bend, transfer, transport or re-position patients with assistance.

  4. Prior work experience in OR, Same day or GI Lab preferred.
  5. Able to return on call within one hour of call in – 1 night of call minimum required
  6. Willing to train the right personality.

POSITION: Sterile Processing Tech ORA

DEPARTMENT: Surgery

HOURS: Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY:

The central sterile processing technician coordinates and collaborates the overall cleaning, decontamination, assembly and dispensing of surgical instruments, equipment and supplies needed for daily surgical procedures in surgery and related departments.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for control of all parts of the sterilization process: § decontamination; § prep, pack, sterilize; § documentation of sterilization; and § sterile storage including remediation of equipment failures and hazards.
  • Provide integrity and sterility of products and services for the customers.
  • Work in conjunction with the OR staff to provide timely sterile products.
  • Maintain consistency and continuous workflow between the OR and Central Service Sterile Processing while practicing excellent customer service.
  • Operate and maintain steris reliance machine; keep records of loads completed, items of loads and maintenance procedures performed
  • Operate and maintain decontamination equipment
  • Decontaminate, reprocess and maintain flexible endoscopes
  • Monitor surgery schedules daily, identifying general, specific and potential needs for all cases.
  • Assist with cleaning of rooms between cases and terminal cleaning
  • Operate and maintain steam autoclaves, keeping records of loads completed, items in loads, and maintenance procedures performed.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate records to remain compliant with applicable regulatory agencies, as well as reporting occurrences immediately to supervisors.
  • Maintain strong working/collaborative relationships with other departments to ensure flow and continuity of services.
  • Attend in-service presentations, including but not limited to infection control, patient safety, quality improvement, MSDS and OSHA standards.
  • Report defective equipment to supervisor or staff. Non-Essential Functions

POSITION:                          Patient Access Rep

                                   

DEPARTMENT:      Registration

 

HOURS:       PRN (as needed) during the week with some weekends. On call and some    holidays possible.

 

JOB SUMMARY:    Performs patient registration.  Inputs patient data into computer, prepares information for data processing and medical records.  Collects payments from patients. Requires ability to interact with patients, family, physician offices and RMC staff with strong customer service skills.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  2. Prior experience in business office or medical practice
  3. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  4. Knowledge of third party payers preferred
  5. Knowledge of insurance company rules and regulations

  7. Fast, accurate data entry skills
