Rhea Medical Healthcare Foundation's Community Education Initiatives are sponsored by Rhea Medical Center, City of Dayton Utilities Grant Program, Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District's Project Hometown Help and Volunteer Energy Cooperative's VECustomers Share program.

Commemorative Brick Program
The Rhea Medical Healthcare Foundation continues to take orders for its popular commemorative brick program. The fundraiser offers a limited number of 4-by-8-inch custom engraved bricks to be laid around the Lanny E. Mauldin Friendship Fountain in the beautiful Rhea Medical Center courtyard.

For a gift of $50, a brick can be engraved with up to three 20-character lines and can incorporate a personal message, identify a business or organization, or mark important dates, events, or family names. Donations benefit the Rhea Medical Healthcare Foundation, a nonprofit organization that assists in the purchase of medical equipment for the hospital.

Bricks are laser-engraved and filled with hardened glass to ensure strength and lifetime durability. They must be ordered in groups of 100, so there may be a waiting period between the time a donation has been made and the time the brick is actually placed. However, commemorative certificates are provided with each donation and sent immediately after orders are received.
